On September 21, Jim Phillips participated in a panel discussion at the Birmingham Chapter meeting of InfraGard. InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and members of the private sector for the protection of U.S. Critical infrastructure. The meeting and discussion commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Birmingham chapter. Also participating in the panel discussion was the current Special Agent in Charge of the Birmingham Division of the FBI, the most recent former U.S, Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama, and the current Public Affairs Officer and Private Sector Coordinator for the Birmingham Division of the FBI. The panel discussed past successes and future strategies and opportunities for the Birmingham Chapter.
At this meeting, Jim was acknowledged and awarded with a plaque for the many years of service that he has dedicated to InfraGard. Jim was an early member of the organization, he served a previous term on the board, and has made many presentations to this group over the past twenty years. Jim also continues to offer his service to InfraGard as the Financial Sector Chair and current board member. Thank you Jim for your continued commitment to addressing and minimizing threats to U.S. critical infrastructure.
